On Friday June 11th at around 11:15 pm, Deputy Mark Nichols stopped a vehicle for one headlight in the area of Bryan Street in Hopkinsville. Deputy Nichols approached the driver and noticed a faint smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A K9 unit was deployed and alerted on the drivers side door of the vehicle. The driver, 18-year-old Devonni Radford of Hopkinsville, was about to be placed under arrest and attempted to flee officers on foot.
