Detectives with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime unit made a traffic stop Monday afternoon and arrested a Hopkinsville man for possession of multiple illegal narcotics.
33-year-old Kenneth Evans of Hopkinsville was stopped Monday afternoon at around 4:45 pm on Butler Rd in Christian County for multiple traffic infractions. It was determined that Evans was driving on a suspended driver’s license and was subsequently arrested. A search of his vehicle yielded marijuana, methamphetamine, suboxone and hydrocodone pills not in the proper container, as well as several items of drug paraphernalia to include baggies and pill bottles.
Evans was arrested and charged with the following:
- Multiple Traffic Charges
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Opiates)
Evans was transported to the Christian County Jail.
