Traffic Stop Ends with Meth Arrest

Christian County Sheriff's Office Drug ArrestAn afternoon traffic stop on Princeton Rd yesterday afternoon resulted in the driver being arrested for meth and other charges.

According to an arrest citation from Deputy Jack Rowlands, 29-year-old Stephen Adamson of Paducah Kentucky was stopped for speeding on Princeton Rd at around 4:30 pm. During Rowland’s investigation, a K9 was deployed and indicated on the vehicle. A search yielded suspected methamphetamine wrapped in a dollar bill in the area of the driver’s seat. 

Adamson was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Speeding
  • Failure to Wear Seatbelts
  • No Insurance
  • License Plate Not Legible
  • Obstructed Windshield
  • Tampering With Physical Evidence
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)
  • Operating on a Suspended License
  • Display of Fictitious Operators License
