An afternoon traffic stop on Princeton Rd yesterday afternoon resulted in the driver being arrested for meth and other charges.
According to an arrest citation from Deputy Jack Rowlands, 29-year-old Stephen Adamson of Paducah Kentucky was stopped for speeding on Princeton Rd at around 4:30 pm. During Rowland’s investigation, a K9 was deployed and indicated on the vehicle. A search yielded suspected methamphetamine wrapped in a dollar bill in the area of the driver’s seat.
Adamson was arrested and charged with the following:
- Speeding
- Failure to Wear Seatbelts
- No Insurance
- License Plate Not Legible
- Obstructed Windshield
- Tampering With Physical Evidence
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)
- Operating on a Suspended License
- Display of Fictitious Operators License
