Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office investigated a burglary that occurred at the Old Sinking Fork School on Princeton Rd. on the morning of January 19th, and have arrested a Hopkinsville man.
According to a CCSO arrest citation, 43-year-old Lucan Blankenship was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after he admitted to deputies that he took part in the burglary. At the time of his arrest, Blankenship was in possession of some of the property stolen from the building. The arrest was made possible by tips from the public after security cam footage of the break-in was shared on the Christian County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.
Deputies say the investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
