Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle Wednesday afternoon and arrested a Hopkinsville man for drug charges.
According to a CCSO arrest citation, Lt. James Dragoo stopped a vehicle on Woodbine Street at around 3:30 pm after the driver was seen not wearing a seatbelt. Deputies searched the vehicle and located suspected methamphetamine along with syringes and 10 Gabapentin. The driver, 31-year-old Stanley Aaron Marcus was arrested and charged with the following:
- No Drivers License
- Driving on DUI Suspended (3rd Offense)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense
- Failure to Wear Seatbelts
- Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug
Marcus was transported to the Christian County Jail.
