Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were called to Jennie Stuart Medical Center late Wednesday night for a gunshot victim.
According to an arrest citation from Det. Sgt. Ricky Burgess, the victim was at a Greenville Rd. residence earlier in the evening at around 11:00 pm and was in an altercation with 49-year old Raymond Brown over a set of keys. Brown reportedly shot at the victim several times, striking him once in the torso. The victim showed up at the hospital a short time after and reported the shooting to deputies.
Brown was arrested and charged with Assault 1st Degree. The victim was being transported to Nashville for further medical treatment. The severity of the injuries is unknown at this time.
