Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on Davis Road Wednesday night and found illegal narcotics.
According to an arrest citation from Deputy Scott Noisworthy, Deputies went to a home on Davis Road to serve an arrest warrant on 51-year-old Raymond Scott Lance.
Deputies located Lance at the residence and attempted to take him into custody. Lance refused to comply with the officer’s directions and caused a physical altercation in the garage. Deputies were able to restrain Lance and arrest him. A search of Lance’s person yielded suspected marijuana, suspected methamphetamine, and a syringe. Lance admitted to smoking meth earlier that day.
Lance was served with a Failure to Appear Warrant and also charged with the following:
- Resisting Arrest
- Disorderly Conduct
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth)
