CCSO K9 Sniffs Out Meth, Arrests Made

Christian County Sheriff's Office Drug ArrestDeputies stopped a vehicle Wednesday night for speeding that led to the arrests of three individuals on Princeton Rd.

According to arrests citations from K9 Sgt. Brandon Myers and Investigator Charlie Fiscella, a vehicle was spotted traveling 73 mph in a 55 mph zone in the area of Cerulean-Princeton Rd and Princeton Rd at approximately 9:15 pm. Further investigation of the occupants led Sgt. Myers to deploy his K9 “Hamer” who indicated on the vehicle for possible narcotics activity. A search of the vehicle yielded a Hi-Point 9mm handgun, 43 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and digital scales typically used in trafficking the drug.

The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Travis Lee Camplin of St. Charles was arrested for Speeding, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.

Also arrested from the vehicle were 29-year-old Tanna S. Dunlap of Madisonville and 22-year-old Aaron Joe Sisk of Bowling Green, with both subjects being charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All subjects were transported to the Christian County Jail.
