CCSO Theft Investigation Turns Up Two Arrests

Stemming from an ongoing theft investigation, detectives with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant Wednesday morning, arresting two Hopkinsville residents and recovering stolen property.

Christian County Sheriff's Office Press ReleaseAccording to CCSO arrest citations, detectives served the search warrant at a home in the 2000 block of Gospel of Peace Rd. at around 10:40 am, looking for stolen property. Detective Sgt. Ricky Burgess says that the occupants inside the residence refused to open the door after the search warrant was announced. Once inside the residence, officers made contact with 27-year-old Brandon Gard and 23-year-old Haley Pool, both of Hopkinsville.

A search of the residence yielded several stolen items, a vehicle lockout kit used to gain entry into vehicles, and illegal narcotics. The citation goes on the say that Pool gave officers a false name and date of birth during the encounter, but was later identified as Pool.

Pool was arrested on several active warrants and also charged with:

  • Receiving Stolen Property U/$500
  • Giving an Officer False Identifying Information
  • Theft of Identity
  • Possession of Burglary Tools

Gard was arrested for an active warrant and also charged with:

  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Meth)
  • Receiving Stolen Property U/$500
  • Possession of Burglary Tools
  • Hindering Apprehension 2nd Degree

Both subjects were transported to the Christian County Jail.
