Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hopkinsville man after receiving a trespassing call on Cave Street Wednesday morning.
According to a CCSO arrest citation from Deputy Andy Spann, 53-year-old Donovan Lee Stokes of Hopkinsville was found hiding under a couch inside a residence in the 400 block of Cave Street and refused to come out when confronted by Deputies. The Sheriff’s Office sent in K9 Lt. James Dragoo and his partner “Chopper” to assist in retrieving Stokes from the inside the residence. After a brief encounter with the K9, Stokes surrendered to authorities and was arrested for:
- Burglary 2nd Degree
- Resisting Arrest
Stokes was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
