The Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit arrested 28-year-old Zach White of Cadiz following a short vehicle/foot pursuit through Hopkinsville.
According to the arrest citation, White’s vehicle was observed traveling southbound on N. Main Street in Hopkinsville. Whites’ vehicle’s appeared to have inadequate exhaust and failed to use his turn signal when turning onto North Main. When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, he began to flee. During the pursuit, White ran several stop signs and passed several vehicles in an unsafe manner. White eventually ran his vehicle into a ditch causing it to be disabled. White then fled on foot but was apprehended after a short foot pursuit by the Hopkinsville Police Department K-9 Team and K-9 “Kuno”. White was transported to JSMC for a dog bite to his left hand.
During a search of the vehicle and the immediate area, approx. 1lb of suspected methamphetamine was found along with scales commonly used to traffic narcotics. Also inside the vehicle was an AK-47 pistol with approx. 100 rounds of ammunition. The firearm was reported stolen out of Todd County.
Mr. White was lodged at the Christian County Jail on the following charges.

- -Trafficking Methamphetamine 1st (Enhanced)
- -Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess (Enhanced)
- -Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm)
- -Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
- -Tampering with Physical Evidence
