Henderson Pair Arrested for Trafficking Narcotics

Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Henderson residents for trafficking marijuana during a traffic stop for speeding.

According to a CCSO arrest citation, Deputy Johnny Colon stopped a vehicle for going 96 mph in a 70 mph zone on Pennyrile Parkway Friday afternoon at around 4:00 pm. Deputy Colon was given consent to search after he detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During the search deputies located multiple bags of suspected marijuana, THC jelly, several items of drug paraphernalia, and over $6,000 in cash.

Colon arrested  the driver, 26-year-old Devin Wesley Jobe, and the passenger, 19-year-old Christina A. Simmons, both of Henderson, Ky and charged them with the following:

  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Trafficking in Marijuana

Jobe was also charged with the original speeding complaint. Both subjects were lodged in the Christian County Jail.
