Suspicious Subject Arrested for Fleeing & Multiple Warrants

Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hopkinsville man yesterday after he was seen peeking in car windows.

According to an arrest report from Deputy Clevin Robinson, 49-year-old James T. Bush was peeking into car windows on Mechanic Street in Hopkinsville yesterday afternoon. Deputy Robinson made contact with Bush and discovered that Bush had seven outstanding Christian County warrants for charges ranging from probation violation to failure to appear. As Robinson was attempting to take Bush into custody the arrest report indicates that Bush attempted to flee to avoid being arrested. A brief foot pursuit followed and Bush was apprehended in the 100 block of Mechanic Street.

Bush faces the following charges:

  • 7 Christian County Warrants
  • Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree (On Foot)
  • Resisting Arrest

Bush was transported to the Christian County Jail.
