Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Hopkinsville men for methamphetamine possession in Woodland Heights Friday (10/30).
According to an arrest citation from Deputy Charlie Fiscella, both men were occupants in a vehicle and were not wearing seatbelts in the Woodland Heights Apartments on Greenville Rd Friday night. Fiscella determined that both subjects had active Christian County warrants and took them into custody. During the arrests, Fiscella observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and on the person of one of the subjects. A further search of the vehicle yielded a bag of suspected methamphetamine and items used in the packaging and sale of illegal narcotics.
Deputy Fiscella arrested 42-year-old Alvin Powell and 51-year-old Curtis Killebrew and charged them with the following:
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (meth)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Failure to Wear Seatbelts
Powell and Killebrew were transported to the Christian County Jail.
