The Christian County Sheriff’s Office Interdiction Unit made a traffic stop this morning on Interstate 24 and seized illegal narcotics and a firearm.
According to the citation, Deputy Clevin Robinson stopped a vehicle this morning on I-24 at around the 78-mile marker for traffic infractions. The driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old Gary Rowe of Bolingbrook, IL, gave Deputy Robinson consent to search his vehicle. During the search, Deputy Robinson found THC gummies, marijuana, and a handgun.
Rowe was charged with the following:
- Possession of Marijuana (firearm enhanced)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree
