CCSO Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Charges for Hopkinsville Man

Deputies stopped a vehicle on College Street in Hopkinsville for a traffic infraction and found the driver to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

According to the arrest report, Deputy Charlie Fiscella stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of College Street yesterday evening (06/16) for a brake light issue. The driver, 30-year-old Wesley S. Houchens, was arrested after Deputies located suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, and a syringe in the vehicle.

Houchens was transported to the Christian County Jail and charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • No Brake Lights
  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth)
