CCSO Arrests Two More For Meth Possession

Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested two more individuals on Thursday, both for meth possession.

According to an arrest report from Deputy Clevin Robinson, 21 year old Wyatt Hulstrom of Hopkinsville was stopped in the area of Hwy 1682 and Greenville Rd. yesterday morning for an equipment violation and gave consent to search his vehicle. Robinson searched the vehicle and found a Ziploc baggie containing an undisclosed amount of suspected methamphetamine. Hulstrom admitted to Robinson that the meth was his. Hulstrom was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Improper Equipment
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree/ 1st Offense (Meth)

Hulstrom was transported to the Christian County Jail.

03/05/2020:

In an unrelated case, Deputies found illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia after attempting to serve a warrant at a residence on Butler Rd. Thursday afternoon.

According to an arrest report by K9 Deputy Burgess, 52 year old Arthur Sivels of Hopkinsville was arrested after Burgess observed him attempt to hide suspicious contraband.

Burgess made contact with Sivels at the residence and watched him throw something from his pocket in an attempt to hide it. Burgess took Sivils into custody and located a small coin pouch that contained approximately 4 grams of suspected meth behind a table in the garage. Sivils was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree/ 1st Offense (Meth)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence

Sivels was transported to the Christian County Jail.
