Deputies arrested a Cadiz man, after being dispatched to a house in reference to a possible burglary in progress.
On Sunday, December 22nd, deputies were dispatch to a residence in the 12000 block of Julien after receiving reports of a burglary in progress. According to the arrest report from Sgt. Brandon Myers, they made contact with 37-year-old Matthew Busby of Cadiz, KY as he was exiting the rear of the residence. Busby claimed that he occasionally lives at that address, however the owner of the home told Deputies by phone Busby was not allowed at the home and hadn’t lived there in years. The victim also informed Deputies that Busby had removed a firearm from that residence earlier this date. Deputies located the firearm and returned it to the owner.
Busby was arrested, transported to the Christian County Jail and charged with:
