October 28th, 2019: Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were attempting to serve a Probation Violation warrant and discovered illegal drugs and counterfeit money.

According to an arrest document from Deputy Charles Fiscella, Deputies were attempting to serve a probation violation warrant on 35-year-old Matthew Martin of Hopkinsville, at a residence in the 5000 block of Butler Rd. Friday night (10/25). During Martin’s arrest, Deputies discovered illegal narcotics and ammunition in the residence. A search warrant was obtained for the entire residence and the search yielded several more items of contraband including counterfeit money, materials and a printer used in manufacturing counterfeit money, suspected methamphetamine, suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, an undisclosed amount of cash and a firearm stolen out of Nashville, TN.
Martin was arrested and transported to the Christian County Jail.
