June 7th, 2019: Deputies arrested a Hopkinsville man on a warrant taken out after a dog was shot in the face.
According to initial reports, Deputies were called to an address reference to shots fired. Once they arrived they discovered that 40 year old Jovan Perry of Hopkinsville had shot a gun at a dog, causing serious injury to the animal and posing a risk of serious injury to bystanders. Perry was arrested on a warranbt taken out by deputies for the same.
Perry is lodged in the Christian County Jail at time of release.
