CCSO Locates Fugitive, Makes Arrest

              CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Date: 10.24.2018 Date of Incident/ Arrest: 10/24/2018 Type of Incident: Fugitive of the Week Arrest (from July) Agencies Involved: Christian County Sheriff’s Office ********************************************************************************* The Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Fugitive of the Week from July of this year. Deputies acting on a CrimeStoppers tip went to Woodland Heights Apartment Bldg “F” located at 2850 Greenville Rd. earlier today to attempt to locate 32 year old Travis Sentel Thomas, who had 6 outstanding warrants for: -Contempt of Court -Assault 1st Degree -Probation Violation X 3 -Burglary 1st, and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree   After a brief foot pursuit, Thomas was taken into custody without incident in the area of the “F” building and all warrants were served. Thomas had suspected marijuana on his person at the time of the arrest and was also charged with: –Possession of Marijuana and -Fleeing and Evading Police, 1st Degree.   Thomas was taken to Christian County Jail where he is being held without bond.     END OF RELEASE   Chris M.
