Sheriff's Office Recovers two Stolen 4-Wheelers

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has recovered two out of three 4-wheelers which were reported stolen in the past few weeks from residents here in Christian County, with the whereabouts of the third unknown at this time.
 
Over the past month, three 4-wheelers were taken from the areas of Grapevine Rd., Madisonville Rd. and Cadiz Rd., all at different times and dates.
 
Detective Lt. Ed Stokes received information on the possible whereabouts of the stolen property and was able to locate them at addresses on Grapevine Rd. and Johnson Mill Rd. Through further investigation, Lt. Stokes was able to determine who was responsible for the thefts.
 
Authorities questioned and charged two Christian County residents, who admitted to taking part in the theft of the 4-wheelers.
 
-18 year old Christopher Johnson of Johnson Mill Rd. was charged with:
    -3 Counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking O/$500.00
-19 year old Shawn Hutson of Buckner Drive was charged with:
    -1 Count of Theft Unlawful Taking O/$500.00
 
Both subjects were arrested on April 13th, 2016 and lodged in the Christian County Jail. The two 4-wheelers recovered have been returned to the rightful owners. The third has been traded multiple times since the theft according to the suspects, and investigators are still trying to determine its whereabouts.
