CCSO Investigates Armed Robbery

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that occurred at a Russellville Rd. business early Friday evening (12.11).

Preliminary reports from witnesses and victims indicate that three black males, armed with handguns, entered Johnson’s Auto Salvage at 3110 Russellville Rd.  at approximately 6:30 p.m. and demanded money from several individuals inside, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash and belongings.

The Sheriff’s Office was later notified by a few of the victims that the robbery had taken place, and was given an account of what happened. The suspects are described as 3 slender black males, possible between 5’8″ and 5’10” in height, with painters masks over their faces. At this time there is no clothing description.

It is believed there were more victims at the business at the time of the robbery, however, only a few have come forward.
